In fairness I have very little to say, but a brief update would probably be a good idea.
I received my examiners' reports back at the end of February. I had some revisions to do, and am now waiting to hear the verdict on those. I start work as a Research Officer at UWA in July, and in the mean time I'm doing some research work for a European Studies unit for next semester. I am really getting into Joan of Arc as a result, so - given it is the (official) 600th anniversary of her birth this year and the 30th of May was the Feast of Joan of Arc - do take some time to explore Carl Theodor Dreyer's The Passion of Joan of Arc from 1928. A masterclass in close-ups and tears.
